Morgan Stanley launched "AI @ Morgan Stanley Assistant," its chatbot for financial advisors which is trained on 100k research reports and documents. The bot makes the firm's full knowledge base available to all advisors for any client at MS. Via Jeff McMillan at Morgan Stanley AI will improve financial advisory experiences, but it will do even more to improve investment returns. Intelligent Indices builds actual investment products with an AI index committee: ChatGPT, Bard, and Claude. The committee has built 28 strategies tailored around different market caps, geographies, sectors, and other factors. AI's advantage is that it understands fundamental and qualitative elements of investments, and it doesn't suffer from the bottleneck of human emotions. Our most mature strategies are beating legacy benchmarks by 100 bps or more since July inception, and AI will only get better over time.
