After 18 wonderful years with SAP, it is about time for me to embark on a new journey. The upcoming Sapphire event will be my last dance before returning my badge at the end of June. Reflecting on it, I deeply appreciate the amazing people who make this a great place to work. Your contributions, whether as teammates, customers, or financial community members, have been invaluable to my journey! Also grateful for the rich network of relationships developed over the years. I learned a great deal on this journey, especially thru exposure to different cultures. This company gave me the opportunity to build diverse teams and take leadership roles at various levels and scale: market unit, regional, global, and corporate. This was the perfect blend for a growth mindset. Specifically, I had the chance to team up in North America and Latin America. These fantastic teams drove the growth agenda, dealt with constant change, and delivered greater outcomes. Heady times, full of optimism with a spirit of comradeship! Together with fellows across the globe, we have also led the way by driving a wave of transformation in finance. We made big leaps by leading with innovation and fostering a winning culture. The relentless focus on customers was the common denominator. I am appreciative of the solid foundation we have built collectively which allows today’s org to flourish. About two and a half years ago, I took the helm of IR. It was a distinct honor to quarterback communications with the financial markets for the #1 DAX company. Since then, market sentiment has built up momentum. The company’s valuation has more than doubled over the past 18 months, and last quarter was the largest value creation on record in a single quarter. The winning streak is illustrated by SAP’s stock reaching an all-time high with YTD performance outpacing leading indices threefold, a rare feat. Overall, the positive sentiment is driven by a passionate team of professionals. What we focus on, we become. The company is in a sweet spot. I am optimistic about the ocean of opportunity lying ahead for SAP. Eager to apply the wealth of knowledge and experience gained here. What an amazing growth story! As I embrace the next chapter, I will carry cherished memories, big wins, transformational moments, and friendships. Here’s to what the future holds! 🌿 Thanks to SAP’s Executive Board and to my brilliant Team for their trust. As I had the blessing to run alongside exceptional leaders here, let me also share a great deal of recognition to Christian Klein Luka Mucic Joel Bernstein Jennifer Morgan DJ Paoni Thack Brown P. Daniel Healey Claudio Muruzabal Volker Reinert Paula Jacomo Adaire Fox-Martin Bill McDermott Jim Hagemann Snabe Robert Enslin Mark Ferrer Rodolpho Cardenuto Gonzalo Benedit Mark White Martin Risau, my first inspiring manager at SAP Renaud Heyd for the initial onboarding Xavier De Grove (He/Him) for the cold call in 2006 to join this company

All the best for wherever the next challenge lies, Anthony! I keep looking back with fond memories to our long journey together over the course of the last decade (and some..). From GCO Controlling to MU CFO in Mexico, regional CFO in Latam and NA all the way to the challenging IR transformation overseen in the last few years, you indeed had an impressive run with great experiences that will undoubtedly benefit you in whatever comes next, and it was an honor to accompany you on the way. I hope that our paths will cross again, my friend - for now, have a great Sapphire, I know how it feels to attend your last one :-), so enjoy!
