Better late than never 😅 From 14th to 17th June, Paris transformed into a buzzing hub of technology and entrepreneurship, as Viva Tech showcased groundbreaking innovations, captivating discussions, and electrifying energy that only the world's most prominent tech event can deliver. 🚀 This year's edition was truly exceptional, and I was fortunate enough to witness some awe-inspiring moments. We had the privilege of witnessing engaging panels featuring none other than President Macron and the brilliant visionary himself, Elon Musk. Their insights were mind-blowing, making us realize that the possibilities are truly infinite when it comes to the intersection of technology and society. However, let's not overlook the countless other hidden gems that emerged at Viva Tech 2023. Start-ups from all corners of the globe showcased their cutting-edge solutions, disrupting traditional industries and inspiring us with their ambition. The spirit of entrepreneurship was palpable, and it left me feeling inspired and invigorated. Reflecting on the experience, I can't help but feel grateful to be part of a world where innovation is celebrated and nurtured. Viva Tech truly encapsulated the spirit of pushing boundaries and daring to dream bigger. Posting from the hall of the second day of the conference Michael Doyle's Talk at the 2023 Conference on Rethinking US Democracy ✨ Yesterday I attended a thought-provoking talk by @Michael Doyle, a renowned professor at Columbia University and Fellow of the American Academy of Arts. His presentation at the 2023 Conference on Rethinking US Democracy, organized by Freie Universität, JFKI department, Atlantische Akademie, and Bard College, left a lasting impression on all participants. During his speech, Professor Doyle eloquently discussed the concept of "Cold Peace" and the challenges of avoiding a new Cold War. He shed light on the dynamics of conflict and cooperation in theory and practice, emphasizing the need for compromise, regimes, and reforms to foster a stable and constructive Cold Peace. One of the key takeaways from Professor Doyle's talk was the importance of trust and cooperation in international relations. The talk also delved into the sources and instruments of the "New Cold War," such as cyber attacks, political subversion, and proxy wars. Professor Doyle emphasized the need for global cooperation to counter these challenges, stressing that it is not a simple bipolar confrontation but rather a complex multipolar landscape that requires nuanced diplomatic efforts. In terms of prospects for a Cold Peace, he highlighted the need for compromises and reforms in key areas such as Ukraine, Taiwan, cyber warfare, trilateral nuclear arms control, and domestic US reforms. Attending Professor Doyle's talk has broadened my understanding of international relations and highlighted the critical role of diplomacy in maintaining global stability. The meeting was aimed at preparing participants for the final contest on the next session, and I have to say, I was blown away by the skills I acquired during the session. I never imagined that pitching could be so creative, fun, straightforward, and interesting to follow until Daniel Cronin showed us how it's done. His presentation was incredibly engaging, and I learned so much about how to pitch my own ideas in a way that grabs people's attention. It’s always refreshing to be surrounded by professionals who are willing to share their experiences and motivate others. Attending the 3 Lab event was an incredibly valuable experience for me as a founder in the fashion industry. I feel much more confident in my ability to pitch my ideas to potential investors and partners, and I'm excited to see where these new skills can take my business.
