One big lie we tell ourselves, as People leaders, is that overhauling our performance management approach is going to create a lot of value 🤡 When, in fact, it’s the biggest internal Hawthorne effect People teams make the company take part in 😬 My advice: focus on making the current system work better and making it intuitive vs. making everyone completely re-orient around a new approach.
