Thanks to Scouting America and Laurel Highlands Council for including us in this year’s Boy Scouts of America’s Report to the Commonwealth. We were able to get an insider view of the State Congress and Senate and also learn a lot about the history and values which were foundation of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. A very humbling experience!

Happy International Women’s Day!

Just like that, Aleina turns 8. While she is not a typical 8 year old and we have a long journey ahead of us with her in terms of her speech & language skills, her social behavior and immunity issues, she is still a silly goofball. She teaches us everyday to embrace kindness and difference. She still finds ways to be happy no matter what. We are stronger and better as a family because of her. Though life might throw the occasional curve ball, it takes both the rain and sunshine to make a rainbow. Happy birthday, Aleina! #autismawareness #autismspeaks #loveandkindness
