My wife and I are grateful and humbled to have been invited by Brad Margus to be a part of the "A-T Children's Project ILLUMINATION" gala this weekend in support of such a great cause. It was a wonderful experience to be in a packed room surrounded by brilliant scientists, industry leaders and investors who came together in the hopes of advancing one step closer to a potential cure for this incredibly underserved patient population. Moreover, the resilience and hopefulness conveyed through the stories shared by the parents of children with this rare and devastating disease was truly moving and inspiring to hear. As parents, our hearts are with these families and we remain hopeful the incredible work done to date in this field will accelerate given the overwhelming support displayed this weekend.
