Another Remarkable Day at Accenture Oracle Leadership Council (AOLC) 2024 💡 As the sun rose on AOLC 2024, it illuminated a gathering of visionaries, thought leaders, and change-makers. The air buzzed with anticipation, and attendees closed their eyes, allowing their minds to soar beyond the present moment. What they saw was nothing short of extraordinary—the future of industries unfolding before them. "Champions of Change" In an era where change is the only constant, we stood united as “Champions of Change.” AOLC 2024 wasn’t just a conference; it was a catalyst for transformation. From sports to medicine, from life science to technology, the possibilities stretched out like an infinite horizon. "Sessions That Ignited Minds" The sessions were electric. We delved into the concept of being “future ready.” How do we prepare for what lies ahead? How do we harness the power of people, amplified by technology? These questions sparked lively discussions, and consensus emerged as the driving force for change. "Multi-Cloud: Putting Customers at the Center" The multi-cloud approach took center stage. Reflecting on the first 2 days at Accenture Oracle Leadership Council (AOLC) 2024, it was a dynamic convergence of innovation and inspiration. We are living in an era of massive change, where disruption is unlocking human potential, and where we have to have the courage to be pragmatic to take advantage of the technology, moving from experimentation to scale. After the energetic kick off of our global leader Samia Tarraf, we had an impressive lineup of plenary sessions featuring client presentations from industry leaders who shared their knowledge on getting to 360 value, on CXO technology enablement, and on driving global impact through people and community.  We are so grateful for having had our own Paul Daugherty laying out the 5 must-do in the next 12 months to thrive, to Steve Miranda for having highlighted how Gen AI will be integral in all the enterprise business workflows of the Oracle applications, to Mike Sicilia and Hemant Dhulla for having shared the importance of the partnership to innovate. Amazing listening our Marty Rodgers about what it takes to implement Intelligent Operations, and our own Koenraad Schelfaut that together with Jae Sook Evans and Greg Pavlik provided concrete examples about how both #Accenture and #Oracle are reinventing themselves using #generativeAI. One of the best parts of this event: the peer-to-peer interaction – where best practices and innovative approaches are shared, as well as lessons learned through experience.   It's truly been engaging and such a pleasure to network with such amazing leaders, discussing the future of their industry. Last stop of the Oracle #cloudworldtour for the FY24 but not for my "Energy Bus". Milan, it’s a wrap!   Taking place first time in Milan, a city that holds a special place in my heart, the event was a huge success, and Carlota Alvarez Pedreira was an excellent host and partner.   Our mantra and our partnership DNA is "putting your success at the heart of everything we do", as Douglas Kehring said at the start of his keynote.   We learned a lot from our clients who went on stage to share their journey in reinventing themselves.   It was so insightful to hear from Marco Barioni and Antonio Motta of #RealeMutuaAssicurazioni, Giuseppe Maifredi and fabio carpi of #BPER Banca, and my former colleague Paolo Trevisan of #PoloStrategicoNazionale.  There is one common denominator: the centrality of the data and the will to leverage AI and Gen AI's potential. Ethically and sustainably.   Chris Leone's announcement of Gen AI's new features reinforced how strategic our recent acquisition of Flo Group, Part of Accenture is to help our clients manage their supply chains more effectively.   Great conversation with Scott Twaddle, Valerio Romano, Mauro Capo about #SovereignCloud augmented with #GenAI potential.   Big thanks to Cormac Watters who is the embodiment of how partnership should look like.   The team led by Raffaele Castagna along with Daria Bianchi, Mariangela Fiore, Gaia Cavallini, Cristiano Zalambani, Massimo Abri that together with Laura Lorenzini and Gianluca Sensalari worked tirelessly to create the most intense and exciting agenda, wonderful Accenture Italia booth and engaging demo show cases.
