A collaborative leader who focuses on engagement to ensure success in the evolution of organizations and the achievement of positive change.
This week I'll be representing Carollo Engineers as I present on "Innovative Approaches and use of Knowledge Metrics in Simulation Exercises" at the New Jersey AWWA Annual Conference. Mark your calendars, as my presentation will take place on the 21st. In this session, I'll be talking about the critical role of emergency exercise planning, delivery, and evaluation in shaping action-oriented emergency response capacities for the water industry. By exploring a real-world example and trying out some exercise skills, we'll dissect how integrating systematic exercise planning and performance metrics can lead to more effective and efficient response efforts, and positive outcomes. One of the key highlights will be showcasing how simulation of various emergency scenarios fosters readiness and improves response capabilities. I'll also discuss the importance of measuring knowledge retention strategies to evaluate the effectiveness of emergency preparation efforts. Through a comprehensive approach to exercise planning, delivery, and evaluation linked with knowledge indicators, we'll demonstrate how utilities can enhance preparedness, improve resource allocation, streamline communication, and ultimately enhance trust among stakeholders. I'm eager to engage with industry professionals at the conference, exchanging insights and collaborating to advance emergency response capabilities in the water industry. I look forward to seeing you there! #Carollo #NJAWWAA #Resilience #Sustainability

I’ve recently written a blog about one of the policy consultation sessions I have been to and I am currently consolidating a shipping industry perspective about the project. Check out the blog and have your say in the link below.
New Blog📖: The IMarEST was part of a shipping-industry-focused consultation event on the 5th of April 2024. This event aimed to introduce the Sargasso Sea Project to key shipping industry stakeholders, disseminate Project information, and find mutually beneficial opportunities. Our Technical and Policy Executive, Victoria Mentor, tells us about the project and gives us an inside look into the consultation event.🌊 Full article👇 https://lnkd.in/eWXDCxf8 #IMarEST #IMarESTBlog
