Today, June 20, is #WorldRefugeeDay. AFSC joins in solidarity with the tens of millions of people worldwide who have been forced from their homes by conflict, natural disasters, poverty, and other forms of violence. That includes the more than 2 million Palestinians who have been displaced by ongoing attacks and destruction in Gaza. Here’s one simple way you can show solidarity today. Tell Congress: Demand a permanent cease-fire and humanitarian access for Gaza!

They are disproportionately Black people and other people of color. Today, we must recommit to ending white supremacy and working for a world without prisons or cages—the living legacies of slavery, writes AFSC’s Lewis Webb, Jr.
