To be successful, you have to use each day as an opportunity to improve, to be better, to get a little bit closer to your goals. It might sound like a lot of work—and with a busy schedule, next to impossible. But the best part is, the more you accomplish, the more you’ll want to do, the higher you’ll want to reach. So as long as you have the hunger for success, you will always have the power within you to achieve it. #workfromhome #workfromanywhere #workathome #remotework #remotejobs

I don’t think we’re having the right conversation(s) around #remote, #hybrid, and in-office work. And funny enough, the problem seems to be the pandemic. Here are three reasons why: 1) Established in-office organizations went remote abruptly in March 2020. It wasn’t planned and a quick return to normal was anticipated. This didn’t happen and a portion of their workforce fell in love with remote work. They’ve been negotiating a path forward ever since and, judging by layoffs, limitations on promotions, and ire often posted on LI, this doesn’t seem to be going great. 2) There really are two opposing truths at play here - individuals who desire and are productive remotely and those who benefit from an in-office experience. Both camps tend to project their preferences as “best practice” on to the broader market creating a mountain of content in support of their respective positions. 3) Remote work is not simply #WFH. The organizations managing to succeed remotely have technology, processes, and culture promoting strategies that actively compensate for the lack of an office. Pulling this off isn't easy, free, or obvious but it is possible. More to come on this but want to get this out there. Illyrian Group

There, I'll say it. I think Robert Reffkin is making a big mistake in asking agents to be in the office 5 days a week. While I don't disagree that culture is very important, I also know of countless communities with a deeply ingrained culture that congregate online only. I think there is a good compromise somewhere in the middle, but most people don't get into the real estate business to be told by someone else where and when they need to work. Also: what's better for the business - that agents spend 5 days a week cultivating colleague relationships in the office, or 5 days a week cultivating client relationships out of the office? Even traditional companies that pay a salary are having an incredibly tough time hiring today when they require in-office for work that can be done remotely. I don't know how this can possibly fly with 1099-ers. #inmanconnect #compass #remotework #workfromhome #homeoffice #robertreffkin

So many people are looking for "remote work only". It definitely has its benefits, but what about the the down-side? I work a hybrid schedule to accommodate my family situation. I get to see most of my co-workers 4 days a week. Today is my fourth day in a row being completely remote. I cannot wait to return to the office tomorrow. Why? I miss my co-workers and the interactions we share in the office. We are social beings and the social interactions are not only nice, I feel they are needed. What are your feelings about remote vs hybrid vs on-site? At Visium Resources, Inc., we have a variety of opportunities, in a variety or areas, with a variety of work modes. Visit www.visiumresources.com to see if an open position fits your needs. #heretohelp #worksmarternotharder #remotework #hybridwork #onsitework

This actually got to me. It’s a powerful reminder of how resilient and committed we are in the remote work community. Since I started working remotely in 2020, I've experienced firsthand the need to adapt and stay productive, no matter the circumstances. From power outages to unexpected challenges, we've all had our moments. But seeing someone work through a flood? That takes dedication to a whole new level! Remote work isn’t just about flexibility—it’s about commitment, innovation, and making things happen despite the odds. Here’s to everyone out there giving their best, no matter where they are or what they’re facing. Let's continue to push boundaries and show what remote work is all about! #RemoteWork #WorkFromHome #RemoteLife #Resilience #Dedication #WorkAnywhere #Productivity #StayStrong #RemoteWarriors #DigitalNomad #Adaptability #VirtualAssistant #Inspiration

Building trust isn't impossible to do remotely...but it's easier to do in person. Building value isn't impossible to do remotely...but it's easier to do in person. Building relationships isn't impossible to do remotely...but it's easier to do in person. Leading people isn't impossible to do remotely...but it's easier to do in person. Coaching people isn't impossible to do remotely...but it's easier to do in person. Developing people isn't impossible to do remotely...but it's easier to do in person. Dan Sanchez is right: #remoteworking is not without numerous significant advantages for people...but it's not without its challenges either. Remote working is a "double edged sword". Be mindful of the sharpness of BOTH sides.

Another #VANchez confession. I hate remote work, but I can't stop. There's so much to love about it. ❤️ More time with family ❤️ No commute ❤️ More focused time ❤️ More options for employment But there's a massive issue that makes work harder. Working remotely makes it harder to build trust. Trust your direct reports, your boss, your clients, vendors... everybody. We all know that it's trust that makes this whole business wheel go round and with remote work there's just more friction slowing things down. You might feel differently and that's okay! #danchez

In the office, remote, or both! There are pros and cons for sure. Mark Bluvshtein raises some good points in this blog; however, I feel grateful for #remotework otherwise I wouldn't have the opportunity to work with such a great team and #hrsoftware company. Moving from #kelownabc to #toronto wasn't an option for my family (and too darn expensive). While I do miss the in-person experience sometimes, the pros far outweigh the cons for me. What do others think? #workfromhome #remoteworkers https://lnkd.in/gwwxzief
