Should you offer bonuses to casino players every day? Imagine this scenario: you walk into your favorite coffee shop for your usual delightful coffee. Upon ordering, you're pleasantly surprised when the barista hands you a croissant along with your coffee. You enjoy this unexpected treat and leave the shop feeling quite satisfied. As the day progresses, you find yourself visiting the coffee shop multiple times, and with each visit, you receive a croissant with your coffee. This becomes a daily ritual over the course of the week, stretching into the month. Eventually, the charm of the croissant fades. The delight you initially felt turns to indifference; you even start declining the croissant because you simply can't manage another bite. Then, one day, they offer you a cake with your coffee instead. But by now, the thought of more sweets only brings a sense of revulsion. You've had your fill of sweetness. This overindulgence mirrors the effect of constant #casino bonuses. Just like sweets, bonuses lose their appeal when they are no longer a novelty. Follow me for more 🦄

I have to imagine you enjoy Happy Hours, right? Well this is how most bars execute on HH’s vs. how they should execute on HH’s. Most places I see do a Happy Hour by putting in a deal on “Domestic Beers”. The strategy is to attempt to undercut the other bars (which you are unlikely to do without a crazy special) in hopes the customers choose your location. Vs. what they should be doing Choose a special that’s too good to be true. Keep in mind, in order to accomplish “too good to be true” you will likely have to lose money on the deal. Combo this with as close to a full proof plan of profiting on that customer once they are through the door. See the special should be so good that they have to choose your bar and then your bartenders and servers are your salespeople. They have to take the wheel and drive home the sale and make it feel organic. For example: “Here are your dollar beers guys, by the way, if you are hungry we just made a fresh batch of the buffalo chicken dip which is absolutely amazing, let me know if you want me to put one in for you guys.” They will inevitably want to pick at something and now you have not only suggested a high margin item, but you have suggested one of our best items to ensure the customer leaves happy and wants to come back. You can do this with almost anything. Too many times I walk in to my own places or places similar and I would have spent more money if the manager demanded this type of quality service. Pro tip: There’s a difference between pushy/salesy and good service. Good service will out sell a pushy salesman every day.

Most inventory systems only show variances by liquor over the course of one or two weeks. Very few inventory systems show drink by drink variances, never mind identify the bartender pouring the drink. Without this information, how is a bar supposed to intervene to create change, to increase revenues and lower liquor costs? Invitation - I invite you to try BarVision. Our Solution shows drink by drink variances, and links these exceptions to the bartender pouring and charging for the drink. As a result, spurring change becomes a heck of a lot easier. Best of all, this change will show itself as increased revenues, lower liquor costs, higher tips and better drinks. The chain is giving its Dunkin’ Rewards members a free medium hot or iced coffee with purchase on the big day (Sept. 29). As part of “Free Coffee Mondays,” Dunkin’ customers can also score a free medium hot or iced coffee every Monday in September and October. Peet’s Peet’s Coffee is flipping the switch this National Coffee Day and letting customers use points from competitors (like Dunkin’ and Starbucks) to score a free Peet’s drink on Sept. 29. Here’s how it works: Create a Peetnik Rewards account, then take a screenshot from your other coffee loyalty app. Upload the picture and you’ll get a free beverage reward. Krispy Kreme When you stop by Krispy Kreme on Sept. 29, you’ll get a free medium hot or iced coffee with no strings attached (aka no purchase necessary). Coffee naturally pairs well with doughnuts, so the chain is also selling a box of Original Glazed Dozen for $2 with the purchase of another dozen. Cheers to a caffeine filled Friday! #coffee #motivation #stopsellingtostartselling #nationalcoffeeday

Blank Street Coffee is Betting on Coffee Subscriptions - MSNBC The Blank Street 'Regulars' subscription program opened to the public this summer, it has ~5K paying members — and another ~4K are on the waiting list. Blank Street 'Regulars', members pay either $8.99 or $17.99 a week. The cheaper plan covers basic drinks (teas, hot brewed coffee, Americanos and double espresso) the more expensive option allows members to buy a wider range of beverages, including cold brew. Key Take-A-Ways: 1. Coffee consumptions in the US continues to rise and consumers are looking for ways to beat caffeine inflation 2. Compared to a loyalty program, well priced and executed subscription programs can generally drive huge increases in member's share of wallet

This week, we benefited from a free can of drink following a Kebab purchase! Turned out that for how so many years of their existence, the shop owner has been offering his first customer each day a free drink. There is no mention of this on his shop front, no one he is accountable to - and quite frankly, no customer would even know they are his first customer of the day. In contractual terms, this wouldn't even be classed as a unilateral offer. Leave aside the fact, that the odds that such an offer ➡ would organically encourage footfall - close to 2% ➡ a freeloader might start to abuse it - about 50% ➡ a decent customer may make a post that goes viral - about 1% Peter Drucker coined the phrase "Culture eats strategy for breakfast". I am convinced that 'honesty' and 'contracts' have a similar relationship. There will be good guys like Mega Kebabs honoring their commitments even when no one's watching.. for everyone else, I suggest you have a contract. Happy Saturday! #contractmanagement

How I got 1000 new customers with just one RIGHT COMBO❓❓ #foodentrepreneurs can easily copy this strategy and get the best results!! During the early days of Chai Samosa Stories, we focused on selling our chai ☕ & cold coffee 🧋 so much because those were our best and main products. While the grind was to get more customers to try our coffee & chai, we forgot to make the best combo offers for customers. This led to a saturation of our customers and there was a huge decline 📉 in new customers ❌❌ One day a customer came and asked if we could make a combo of Cold Coffee 🥤 & Grilled Sandwich 🥪 & suddenly it rang a bell that WHY HAVEN'T WE PUT THIS ON MENU 😔 The very next day we put Grilled Sandwich 🥪 + cold coffee 🧋 combo on white board and to my surprise 🤯 we got more than 50 offers of the same combo. We continued this offer for a week before adding it finally in our menu and it became our #bestseller in just a 7 Days. We made a few more #combos in next stages of menu updates and all of them helped us gain new customers for us ✅☑️ USEFUL TIP 💡 from this incident : Indian customers not only look for the best products, but also the best value for money combos. Make sure to give them one ✨

⭐️ “The Card Machine Lady” 3 x LinkedIn Top Voice - 🦅🚀 | Payment Consultant UK & Ireland| Making retail & hospitality payments and processes flow and helping businesses grow ⭐️ Call 07472 583002 free consultation
Blend the Perfect Cocktail For Your Business🍸🍹 I’m taking your to a swish cocktail bar. You’re sitting beside me and we’re chatting with the owner. “I’m on really low rates with my card machine provider,” she says. “Oh ok, what rates are you on?” “I’m on 0.25%.” “Ok. Let me take a quick look at your statement.” Grabbing my calculator, I punch in the total processing fees and divide by the total turnover. Then multiply by 100. “The actual fees are 0.8%.” How can this be? Well, some card payment processors charge interchange fees and scheme fees on top of their headline rates for certain card types. This means that they are uncontrolled costs for your business. It depends on who comes through the door with what card how much you’ll pay. Dojo offers a blended rate. So like mixing up the perfect cocktail, the interchange fees and scheme fees are shaken up into the fees I quote. 🍸 That’s the price you pay. They’re as transparent as a crystal glass tumbler. 🥃 So you won’t be stirred when your bill comes in. Want me to take a look? 👀 🧾 Shout BARTENDER! 🍸🍹✨👌 #bar #restaurant #hospitality #thecardmachinelady ©️🕊️

Getting on the Cocktail Menu is the ultimate rate-of-sale driver But how do you do that? Let's try not to talk about listing fees. Here are 6 ways to get creative: 1. Sample the product in the bar. 2. Giving Cocktail names that people can relate to 3. Segment Cocktails on the menu by stating their approx. ABV 4. Track when bars change cocktail menus and create a pipeline 5. Put the foot in the door with Special Menu inserts. 6. Don't forget the role of recommending the correct pricing https://lnkd.in/ebRi9RJb
