#ProductCon 2024 The Conference is both virtual and In person. It’s hosted by Product School I am attending virtually and the take away are numerous. From the welcome address to Speeches and panels, you cant have enough of it all. Thanks Product School for having a chance to join #ProductCon online! It's so great that you don't need to move to another country to have a job of your dreams or drive to a specific country to attend the conference. Yes, online connections are not as productive as in-person. But the benefit is that now we combine self-presentation and profile exchange while listening to speakers. Yesterday I virtually attended Product School's #ProductCon, one of my favourite conferences of the year. All speakers were amazing, however, two talks that stood out to me: 1. Harnessing the Power of GenAI for Exceptional Product Outcomes by Joe Futty. Super insightful on how Products can use GENAI and the benefits for users and businesses. It also sparked some great conversations about how tech must work for users, in partnership with your entire customer journey and other systems, and the need for someone to be watching and managing the entire digital product suite to for true cohesion and success. 2. Launching New Products in Companies Where It Matters Most by Debbie McMahon. One statement that stood out to me was 'issues occur when the product become the product strategy'. We see this all the time, how the product looks and its features starts to take over as 'strategic conversations' and then stakeholders question why metrics aren't being achieved. #productstrategy #productmanagement

Reflecting on an insightful experience at today’s #ProductCon (online), featuring an impressive lineup of speakers who seamlessly blended personal experience with a forward-looking perspective on the evolving landscape of product management. Key takeaways for me being that as we continue to navigate the ever evolving terrain of our roles as product managers, it's imperative to maintain a balance between honoring the end users needs whilst anticipating future trends. There’s always something new waiting to be discovered and whilst user-centricity remains paramount, it’s equally as important to take a step back to consider the wider implications of our decisions, understanding not only how they shape the present, but also the future; with exciting times ahead as we delve into the realm of AI, exploring the impact and benefits it will bring to shaping the future of product management.
