Afinum promotes Shari Zand and Frederick Held to Associate Shari Zand Before joining Afinum in 2023, Shari Zand worked in the investment banking division of Deutsche Bank and advised on M&A and capital markets transactions. Prior to that, she gained relevant experience through internships in the areas of corporate M&A, law and private equity. Shari completed her legal state examination at Goethe University Frankfurt with a placement at University of Pennsylvania. Frederick Held Before joining Afinum in 2023 Frederick Held worked for a mid-cap private equity fund. Prior to that he gained relevant experience through various internships in corporate M&A and private equity. Frederick holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Cologne as well as a master's degree in finance from the Nova School of Business and Economics in Lisbon.
