PFAS and other emerging contaminants have begun to accelerate remediation challenges in recent years. Chief executive of our Environment business, Frank Sweet, explains how this has catalyzed a new, regenerative approach to remediation. “The aim of regenerative remediation is to maximize benefits of mitigation across environmental, social, and economic systems,” he writes. “It can take many forms, but its central objective is to exceed the typical objectives of remediation — eliminating pollution while providing solutions to an array of additional challenges.” Read more from him in Environment Analyst on why remediation must have a broader mission: https://lnkd.in/egFzDsEE #AECOM #Remediation

Today’s People Spotlight features Ross Burke, a civil engineer from our Water business line in Glasgow, Scotland.    Ross first joined us as a CAD technician spearheading the ‘As built’ team, where he worked with engineers and project managers to create detailed drawings of project sites. This sparked his interest in project design work.
