Today’s People Spotlight features Jamie Rivera, PE, PMP, an associate vice president and project manager from our Water business line in the U.S. East region. Just three months after joining AECOM, Jamie embarked on a project that would shape the trajectory of her career: supporting a typhoon-stricken community’s recovery in Guam. 20 years later, and she’s made her mark in disaster recovery as she manages our FEMA Public Assistance contracts and facilitates recovery efforts across the U.S. One of her favorite projects to date has been supporting the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) after the 2013 Colorado floods, which impacted Rocky Mountain National Park and several mountainous corridors. Jamie served as the FEMA subject matter expert, managing their debris removal program and guiding CDOT through FEMA’s PA programs and processes.
