Key principles underpin every piece of legislation, and if you understand these, you’re on your way to driving towards compliance. Having said that, you should always get your work checked by a specialist (and your path to compliance will be easier if you make a solid attempt) It doesn’t have to be hard. As a starting point, check out the FIPPs, one of the key influences on Australian Privacy Law.
