A bit of personal news: after 7.5 years, Friday was my last day at Honigman LLP. Big law is a uniquely challenging environment, but Honigman LLP is an uncommonly good place to practice law. The Firm supported my personal development, trusted me to work on some immensely challenging causes/serve as the associate GC, and, perhaps most "uncommonly", was there when life happened. It's a special place full of dedicated heavyweights; I was lucky to break in, and now I understand why. Now off for a few weeks and then on to the next! More soon.

Honored to be appointed to a two-year term on the State Bar Character and Fitness Committee. I look forward to interacting with applicants and offering recommendations to the Board of Law Examiners.

Thrilled to successfully resolve another case through the Eastern District of Michigan’s Pro Se Prisoner Civil Rights mediation program today. Amazing what a forward-thinking Court can accomplish with an active bench and bar.
