Happy Monday, friends! Exciting times for #multifamily ahead... Last week, our CTO Jason Taylor shared that "Entrata took a huge step further in our own transformational journey with the acquisition of Colleen AI. This is a big deal as Entrata is positioned to be the definitive leader in AI in the multifamily industry. Our customers will now have the ability to simultaneously improve the resident experience while becoming even more efficient in ways that were never even possible before." Our CEO, Adam Edmunds expressed that "with this acquisition comes our launch of Autonomous Property Management. Comparing this to autonomous driving, some of our customers may want simple automation (cruise control) while others are ready for fully automated leasing and property operations (self-driving cars). No matter their desired operating model, Entrata is the only platform that can cater to the individual needs of every owner and operator." Truly excited to watch the multifamily industry shift the focus of site teams from administrative tasks to better serving their residents and prospective residents. Have a great week!

What a whirlwind couple of weeks, seeing clients in West Virginia, San Francisco and Los Angeles! Some amazing discussions and productive outcomes with both loyalty program designs and evolution of existing programs discussed, agreed on and waiting to be executed. As our offices are in San Francisco, I also took the opportunity to ride in a #Waymo, a fully autonomous driving car. I must say, the experience was totally surreal. Incredible technology. I would strongly urge anyone visiting San Francisco to try this. Regrettably, Waymo is not an existing client, but who knows what the future holds! We have lot of things going on at #Zinrelo. For those unaware, Zinrelo’s an API-first, enterprise-grade, SaaS-based loyalty platform. We provide both the technology and strategy consulting, including full program design. Want to chat? Hit me up. #loyalty #saas #loyaltyprograms

With Cruise and Waymo entering a new city every month or so, autonomous vehicles are finally here. But five years after the peak of AV hype, few people in real estate are paying attention to the coming wave, which has the potential to complete remake our cities and offers tremendous opportunity - and risks. Today's Thesis Driven dives into our robotaxi future, revisiting real estate takes from the peak of AV hype in the context of a very different real estate environment. Specifically, we'll look at: - Why the data shows that this AV wave is different than the last; - Potential impacts across multifamily, office, single-family and industrial; - How those impacts fit into a post-pandemic, high-rate environment Link to full letter in the comments.

EasyMile and DriveU.auto - growing, together. Fiercely proud to announce that 2023 was another strong year in our long-term partnership. Here are two operational deployment examples: EasyMile’s fully autonomous shuttles have been operating commercially for several months in the Terhills tourist site in Belgium. The shuttles have transported numerous satisfied visitors using SAE level 4 autonomy, without a human safety driver on board. The expanding fleet has DriveU’s remote operations offering fully integrated into it and is continuously improving the ratio between supervised and autonomous driving. (Link for more on Trehills in the comments 👇) Project SAFESTREAM’s goal is to advance the operation of driverless public transport to SAE Level 4, i.e. without a human safety attendant on board. The consortium includes EasyMile as leader and autonomous shuttle provider and partners T-Systems, TÜV Rheinland, P3, the Technical University of Munich (TUM) as well as the District of Kelheim and the City Monheim am Rhein in Germany. The project aims to build a blueprint for fully driverless operation in compliance with the autonomous driving regulation in Germany, creating a new mobility solution for public transport that is driving the mobility transition in Germany. This important implementation features DriveU’s remote operation platform integrated into the EasyMile driverless shuttles. (More on SAFESTREAM in the comments 👇 ) These are just two examples in the autonomous people-mover space, of the strong collaboration between EasyMile and DriveU. Stay tuned to hear about collaborations in other verticals as we continue to work closely with Benoit Perrin Alain PIGEAU Benieke Treverton Arwed Schmidt Inès Guth Luc SAPIN Gaëlle Le Bouëdec Sylvain Assemat Gennaro Mercadante Florian Enaud Anne Larribe Etienne Merle Arnaud Fossorier and the entire EasyMile team on our joint quest to disrupt ground-based mobility. Inclusive #mobility is a priority for Mcity and we applaud the Global Epicenter of Mobility (GEM) 's initiatives in Detroit. Learn more about what Mcity is doing, including our work with the Accessible Mobility Collaborative, which brings together industry, academia and nonprofit organizations to help make transportation more equitable and accessible to all. https://myumi.ch/357Q1 University of Michigan College of Engineering
GEM is working with local community and industry partners to co-create the future of inclusive #mobility development! Last month, Design Core Detroit and Detroit Regional Partnership partnered to facilitate a co-creation session at the GEM quarterly meeting. Attendees were asked to select from multiple options what “Mobility for All” most looks like to them. Options ranged from robust car-based infrastructure to rail-based transportation options, accessible autonomous vehicle systems, and amplifying community voice in mobility development. Respondents showed a great preference for amplification of community voice as well as infrastructure reducing the role of cars in Detroit’s mobility ecosystem. These insights will be used to guide the development of future mobility initiatives to ensure their alignment with community needs and interests. Stay tuned for additional project updates as the facilitated pilots continue! 🚀 The facilitated pilots turn research into action by partnering with members of the mobility ecosystem to work together on new opportunities. These projects were identified using the results of the network analysis performed by GEM and Orange Sparkle Ball, Inc. earlier this year. #urbanmobility #futureofmobility #inclusivemobility
