AI is here to stay so it is good to see there is a course to help guide us. Early days in its development but a good foundation on the topic will always prove useful. It is uplifting to see two influential organisation unite to provide one single course. A great example of teamwork.

How effective are the guard rails implemented in GPT-4, Bard, and Claude.ai? In this demo, I tested GPT-4, Bard, and Claude.ai with five different prompts to compare their guardrail implementations. I found that all three AI models perform well in terms of adhering to ethical guidelines. However, Claude.ai seems to be the most restrictive, ensuring a high level of caution in responses, while Bard appears to be a bit more relaxed in its approach. It's fascinating to see how each AI balances user requests with ethical considerations.

Around the world, more than 37 countries have proposed AI-related legal frameworks to address public concerns for AI safety and governance 🌍 Just last week, the UK government published its framework for “A pro-innovation approach to AI regulation”, in addition to the EU’s Artificial Intelligence Office proceeding to enforce the AI Act, after a deal was reached unanimously earlier this month.
