My best LinkedIn advice is to ignore LinkedIn advice. LinkedIn advice is rubbish*... coming from someone who tries to give it🙃 Use emojis in the first sentence, only have the CTA in bold, post in the morning at exactly 9:08 for peak engagement then don't reply to comments until 23:42 so they know you graft all day and that's how I made 6 figures with one LinkedIn post. Don't lie to me. If the content is good, it's good. There are obviously ways to improve your content - learn how to write in a way that flows, and figure out how to hook the audience from your opener. But, annoyingly, the best way to figure everything out is to just give it a go (inspirational, I know). Trial and error is your new best friend because what works for your fave LinkedInfluencer, might not work for you. So post when you want. Write what you want. Lay it out however you want. And just see how it goes🤷♀️ (However, the one piece of advice I stand with for everyone is to space out your content. No one likes reading a block of writing. No exceptions.) *not this one though, this is top-quality stuff - don't question the hypocrisy.

Couldn’t agree with this more. Abigail Beeby people often forget that LinkedIn is a social media platform so I will never think there is a “one size fits all” approach Try new things and experiment when it comes to sharing your experiences or thoughts Really enjoyed this Abigail Beeby

Totally agree, honestly. I just posted and the tone is something completely different from what I normally would post? Why? because I wanted to. I can only learn from that experience and that's all any of us can do. It either works or it doesn't and either way, it allows you to learn and grow

I couldn't agree more, so much of the advice is nonsense, most of the advice I give is writing based, how to make the actual content better. Not rubbish like 'comment on X posts a day, at this one specific time'

This is really refreshing to hear! Can be so easy to get caught up in posting the same thing as everyone else at the same time to increase engagement etc. but ultimately when you post what you enjoy posting you’ll be a more authentic audience and feel good doing it

You're right! It's so important to find your niche. LinkedIn also becomes so much more fun and rewarding when you experiment with content rather than hitting copy and paste on someone else content strategy.

Totally agreed Abigail, I believe something that may work for others as you mentioned might not work for you. All you need is to post and see what works best for you! 🙌
