If you're only today posting about the Specsavers van/bollard incident... You're too late (2 days to be precise). Sorry.* Reactive marketing: "An unexpected but relevant campaign, ad, or social media post that responds to the latest events, shows, or news that helps a brand engage with their audience." Two days isn't a lot in regular terms, but on a marketers timeline? You've missed the boat. I've seen the memes, understood the irony, and considered whether it was an ironic accident or clever scheme. Now, I'm bored. Last week, Canva was down. The first few posts informed me it was down. The next few made me laugh, they were funny, they were relatable. The next, next few did nothing. I know it's down and I know we're panicking. I read that 20 minutes ago. TLDR: Be quick. We might not care in 10 minutes time. *Is this hypocritical? Like I'M posting about it today but it's, like, different for me, right? Right???
Seen it about 20 times now but still makes me laugh so I'll let you off lol 😅 😂
I'd rather read a unique perspective late than the same take repeated by everyone who jumped on the bandwagon early. So this was a great way of sharing some less obvious insights around something we've all seen. 🙌
Yep I've seen 25 posts about it and now I'm bored 🤣
