The story of a #productmanager which no one knows 🔥 It starts off with a release expectation of a product revamp - customers ask for it , business needs it , marketing pushes it and he/she has to get it done In the burden of a timeline and a great product - he/she spends their time thinking of the right specs overnight and goes to the stakeholders 1.Design lead -" How the hell this guy tell us to give the mocks in 2 days " - what the lead doesnt know is he/she has already fought for this and the CEO thus gave the time for it to be done - so he becomes the villian 2. Then comes the tech lead -" We cant do it in n days , we will have to work over the weekend " - again he becomes the villian but alas he/she has to push to do it because the company needs it 3. The comes QA - and the same cycle repeats In all retrospective stakeholders feel he/she is a boss and they work their asses off with he/she doing nothing but no body feels compassionate for him/her and when the praise comes , he/she says he didnt do anything and the team did ❤️ We always feel that #productmanagement is not a tangible skill but in my opinion to keep everyone together to ship a great product trumps all So empathy should be mutual , so emphasise with your PM and he/she will go leaps and bounds to make you heard ❤️ For more awesome posts on product management follow Shravan Tickoo ❤️ #productmanagement #startups

Post bigger release to EM: " Bhai yeh sab kya bakwas hai" 6. You get fired and get rehired as a GPM 7. Next major release: " Bhai yeh kya hua " 8. Are you stuck in a #loop? . It's sometimes good to be one. Especially if you're in this product cycle as a PM. Product development demands to be constant evolution. Any time you stop adjusting to trends, it becomes crazy difficult to get back on track, more so ever in this rapid changing world. A product development : 🏁 starts from an Idea 💡But Ideas come from analysis 🔰 Idea gives way to a roadmap 👨💻 Roadmap gears development. 🎉 Finally with a product ready , you launch. Kudos !! Most people stop here. They track metrics, business , keep the BAU. 2️⃣ Some continue on the 2nd part and take feedback 📉 Then they analyse Then they revamp, recreate and relaunch. TOTD ~ This is an elementary understanding but it's tough to follow in a typical #pm life. If your #product is becoming more complex by your innovation and customers can not use it easily, then your #innovation has no value.    If you have invented something that solves customers' problems even, but it is difficult and complex to use from a user's point of view then it will not be accepted by users unless it has a #monopoly .
