We will never know what people's fate will be in the future. What will that person become, where will they work, what will they meet in the future? No one knows. All this time, I believed that. So, I always treat my friends as equals. — Monday night, before going to work, there was a WhatsApp chat from my old friend, Adi Bima Sanjaya. We were friends when we studied Mechanical Engineering. Not long after, we met at a cafe in the Kota Wisata area, Ciangsana, Bogor. There were many stories when we met, there were many ups and downs, there were moments when it was challenging to find the title of the thesis, worried about being late in completing it, etc. Bima experienced this to the point where he told me that if he didn't pass the 9th semester, he had to pay for the 10th semester himself. So, I tried to help by suggesting go to the machine design specialisation lab and take on the lecturer's project. Luckily, he was able to graduate in the 9th semester. Timeskip, I didn't expect him to be persistent enough to pursue his dream of becoming a welding engineer. After graduating, he immediately looked for work related to welding, even though it was a contract and for little money. When he had saved enough salary, then immediately get the welding inspector certification and continue working again. He focus on the grinding experience. Finally, he was recruited at the Pertamina Refinery Unit Kalimantan. I'm happy to hear that. He told me that consistency is essential in any case. In his case, he carried out a career journey as a welding engineer for five years until he reached his current point. For five years, he was also confident that he could work at Pertamina. In short, from him, I learned that if we are not sure what we want. We don't deserve that now. Belief is a form of projection of the future. Dear Connections, We are looking for 2 suitable candidates for below positions: Position: BOM SPECIALIST Location: Sungai Udang, Melaka Experience and qualifications: Knowledge in equipment BOM (bill of material) management system Experience in either mechanical static/rotating/electrical/instrument Able to read and identify the equipment part from the CS drawing, GA drawing, P&ID drawing Knowledgeable in SAP system Skills in Power BI, Microsoft Excel and Power Point Job Scope: 1.Responsible to identify or create new SAP material number for components of equipment with minimum requirement as per MRCSB guideline in registering equipment Bills Of Materials (BOM). Specification and details required to be obtained from SPIR list, drawing and datasheet. 2.Ensure all parts contained in the equipment BOM are correctly set up. In the situation where SPIR list, datasheet or drawing not available, site visit and communication to equipment's vendor or OEM is required to be done to obtain component's details. 3.To adapt, learn and able to execute system used by MRCSB for material number creation, extension & amendment. 4.To create listing for equipment BOM and fill in the SAP change request form for BOM registration & get approval from MRCSB technical team before submission to MRCSB's PMMS team. 5.To communicate and make coordination with SAP data expert at MRCSB for BOM data uploading into SAP system. 6.To assist Optimize PM & Spare (OPMS) team in performing BOM analysis inclusive of BOM status, BOM completion, gap identification and monthly progress update on BOM completion, and sparing. 7.To assist OPMS team in performing m-plan or spare analysis for optimization purpose 8.Work with MTS/SME to perform/raise stock proposal for non-stock item that identified as require for sparing, amendment of min/max based on material movement. 9.Responsible in driving the BOM completion as per target chartered in MRCSB's reliability roadmap, ensuring high quality of BOM assembly in SAP system. 10.To track and follow up all registered or updated Material/BOM/Mplan reflect in SAP 11.To update any material number for the BOM that found incomplete details which require for site visit and communicate with equipment's vendor or OEM. 12.To update equipment ECA or any changes in asset details and update M-Plan 13.To update material details in SAP when needed. 14.To update incorrect asset hierarchy or missing asset equipment/ functional location in SAP as per technical approval 15.Carry out other duties Kindly submit your latest CV to: maisyarah@aworldtec.com.my
