I love this move and conversation for plenty of reasons. This was a smart move - to see this happening consecutively over the last few years has been a step in the right direction. And Magic said it best, more black executives and black ownership in the NFL - both within the league and team offices is the type of presence and representation needed. Data shows that Black Football players in the NFL make up 56.4% of the total player demo. What we know about what motivates and challenges players has much to do with the love of the game and the community that Football represents. My insights-driven mind thinks about How much more that community and game would mean to them if there were to be more owners and executives that looked like them? How much more motivated would they be to engage with the business of the sport after they've hung up their cleats? How much more would the business grow nationally and globally if more of us were in those seats of authority and power? As a lover of the game, of the engagement the game brings, and the overall business this sport of Football is - I am a fan of increasing the black representation within the business of the #nfl!

Expansion of football overseas is a tough road, glad to see the effort. I made a version called WarBall with some support would accelerate the process or make football palatable in places it would literally never happen. It is designed for inclusion of smaller people/women and is skill based. Literally WarBall Viet Nam/Thailand/Saudi Arabia, etc., as explained below, would be rabidly popular from day one. Those countries embracing WCF would build fans for NFL style football, it would no longer be so 'foreign'. To expand football it needs 'cleats on the ground' using a country's history with culturally compatible action (martial arts and ancient, but safe, weapons) and uniforms, to emotionally engage the fans. Only WCF can replicate the tribalism fans feel here about their teams. Korea v Japan comes to mind; the average person in either country has not forgotten the martial and bitter history. Even USA v Britain would have something of that vibe, right? France v Germany? The list goes on and on. Anyway, my objective to expand 'football for everyone' (especially our youth and women) is augmented by your efforts, and vice versa, so I appreciate it. The New York Knicks of the NBA have filed a lawsuit against the Toronto Raptors, claiming that the Raptors have unlawfully obtained confidential information regarding player scouting. This case is uncommon because sports leagues typically have their own methods of resolving conflicts between teams without resorting to legal action. Instead of utilizing the dispute resolution procedures within the league, the Knicks have chosen to directly approach the federal court in New York to address the issue.
