We had an incredible time at the 16th edition of ZTGK by Lodz University of Technology! 🎮 ✨ From a classic whole day gaming madness, evaluating numerous fantastic projects, to networking with passionate young devs and enjoying the afterparty, the entire experience was unbeatable. This year yet again, we had the honor of awarding special prizes to outstanding teams: 🏆 Purple Pig for their game “COSMIC CAMpAigN” 🏆 Gargantusian Games for “Hamster Arena” Moreover, we were proud patrons of the art contest in the asset design category, themed "Icebreaker” inspired by our Frostpunk ❄️ Awards went to: 🎖️ Filip Izydorczyk, the winner of this category and his work L.O.D.OŁAMACZ 🎖️ Cezary Izydorczyk, recipient of special recognition award and his work Glacier Stomper It’s always inspiring to witness the brightly burning creativity (even within an ice-themed category 🤭 ), and dedication of the next generation of game developers. Just over two months ago, you had the chance to play the Beta, and we greatly appreciate the feedback you shared with us. Your observations, along with the existing backlog of features that we were already working on, made us realize that we can prioritize things better to guarantee you have the best possible experience at launch. To do it right, we need more time to finish the development of #Frostpunk 2. That's why we made the difficult decision to postpone its release to September 20th, 2024. We know that this is not the news you wanted to hear. However, we believe that these additional features are something you deserve to see in-game from day one, not in a patch added after the release.
