- Every social media platforms uses the different algorithms. It's important to appreciate the similarities, but also the nuances. For example, YouTube and TikTok both focus on video content. However, YouTube is a lot more focused on long form content whilst TikTok focuses heavily on short, snappy pieces of content. You want to make sure that you're not trying to force one's piece of content to fit across multiple different platforms. This would be the equivalent of a music artist trying to create one song and appeal to every genre. It just simply wouldn't work and it doesn't work on social media. You need to figure out where your target audience spends the majority of their time online. What platform are they on? Choose that platform and upload in a way that is native to that platform.
