Working with configurations

- [Instructor] One very powerful tool inside of SolidWorks is the ability to create configurations of your part. So you can see this part I have here open on the screen. It is a basic like block, and I've got a circular cut on the top. I've got this triangular cut from the side, and I have this square cut from the other side. So what if I wanted to make multiple configurations of this part? So I wanted one that it has only has the circular cut, maybe one that only has the triangular cut, one has the square cut, and maybe one that has all of the above. I can also change things like the size or the color or things like that. So you can have a lot of different configurations of that same part. And you're asking, well, how do I do these magical things? Well, right over here at the very top of the screen, you can see here's the feature manager. And if you go over two things there, you get to the configuration manager. So the configuration, notice, we just have one default configuration…
