Using the Wrap command

- [Instructor] The wrap command is pretty cool. It allows you to take a 2D sketch and wrap it around a 3D solid and either emboss or deboss or even scribe on the surface. Let me show you how to make that all happen. First things first, let's go ahead and create a sketch. So I've got a few different planes here. Here's the front plane. I'm going to go ahead and use that front plane and choose to create a reference plane right in front of it. And let's just type in a value or just pull this plane out here like that. As long as it's right in front of it, that's all we need. Okay, so click OK and there is my plane number one. I want to click on that and say I want to go normal to it, so now I'm looking straight at that plane. All right, now let's go ahead and create some type of a sketch. Now, my favorite thing to do is start a sketch over here and I'm going to use a center line. I'm going to make a center line right on there from one side to the other side.
