- [Instructor] In this video, we're going to be looking at and working with some common surfaces inside of SolidWorks. Now this video is just a teaser to what we can do. If you're interested in creating more complex surfaces, definitely take a look at my course on creating surfaces. But for right now let's just dive into the surfacing toolbar and see some of the most common tools. If you don't have the surfacing toolbar turned on, we're going to need to do that first. Come up here to either one of these tabs, right click on it and say tabs, come down here to surfaces and make sure you got that one turned on. Now you have that toolbar available, let's go ahead and dive into the very first one, which is the extruded surface. Now, the extruded surface works almost identically to a regular extrude. But instead of creating a solid, it's just going to create a surface. I'm going to choose something like this line right here, and I can just grab this little arrow and pull it out. And that's…
