- [Instructor] The Path Mate sounds and does pretty much exactly what it sounds like. It takes a part, and it makes it to a path inside of SolidWorks. On the screen here, you can see I've got this part, and I've got this little squiggly line here, and that's going to be my path, right? I'm going to take this little green cone here. I want to just connect these two things together. The only thing I really need, though, is I need something to connect it to. Right, so I've got the path, but where over here on this little cone am I going to connect it to? I guess you could use maybe the tip right over here, but if you wanted to use, like, the bottom of it, you might want to have, like, a point. So let's go ahead and open up that part right here. And right over here, is that point, right, so if you didn't have that point, you'd just start a sketch here at the bottom. and you can go ahead and add, like, a little point here at the center, but I already have that point. So let's just go ahead…
