Mating parts together in an assembly

- [Instructor] Now that we have all of our components into an assembly document and we've learned how to move the world around, we've learned how to rotate and copy the components around into our assembly. Now is the time to start meeting and connecting these components together. All right, so right now I can see I've got this component here. It wants to be basically in this little slot here. I've got this blue washer looking thing that wants to be over here, connected over here, and I have this, you know, kind of looks like a screw that wants to be down here in this hole. Okay, so the first thing we want to do is we want to create a mate. So right up here under insert components, we've already added the components. Now the next thing is, mate, so mating things together, that's connecting them together. And most components need three mates to fully attach those two components together so they can move in.
