- [Instructor] SolidWorks has a tool called the Stud Wizard. And you might be thinking, "What is a stud wizard?" Well, a Stud Wizard is very similar to a Hole Wizard, except that instead of creating holes in the existing part, you can actually create studs or threaded sections of rod that are coming out of your part. Or if you already have a section of material like this one right over here, you can come out here and thread the outside of that section. So to do that, let's go ahead and come over here. Underneath where the Hole Wizard is, there is a thing called a Stud Wizard. There it is. And you can choose one of two modes. One of them is if you already have an existing cylindrical body, you can go ahead and thread the outside of that. So let's try that one first. Click on that and choose an edge. I'm going to choose this one right there. And notice what happens is it starts giving you a preview of what's going to happen for that stud. So you can choose which method or which standard…
