- [Instructor] The Text tool is a very powerful and helpful tool inside of SolidWorks. It happens to be a tool that I happen to use all the time. And so let me show you how to use it. I have a shape here that's a little, you know, triangular block. And what I want to do is I want to create some text on the top surface. So I'm going to go ahead and click on the top surface, click on Sketch, and let's go ahead and draw some construction geometry. You're going to need, you don't have to have it, but it really does help, if you have some construction geometry of where you'd like to define some of these shapes at, right, so, I'm going to create a couple lines here, come back again, try it one more time. I'm going to go and say I want to to connect this to the midpoint there. And I want to do the same thing down here, I'm going to go from the origin, and I'm going to go find that midpoint. Notice I'm going to zoom in here, I'm just going to kind of hover over this line until that midpoint…
