- [Instructor] Magnetic mates are absolutely awesome. The magnetic mates allow us to grab these components and snap them together very quickly inside of SOLIDWORKS without adding any traditional mates. But before we can use those magnetic mates, what we need to do is we need to use the asset publisher and create some connection points. To do that, we have a component right over here, but before we do that, I do want to show you that it can work with configurations. So right over here, I have the feature manager, two over from that, it's a configuration manager. And notice I've got this U-turn part. I've got this 90 degree part, and 120 degree part. So a couple different options here of the same component. They're configurations and the asset publisher will work for any of these, right? So first thing is come up here under tools, come over here to asset publisher and we need to establish what the ground plane is. Now the ground is what this component's going to snap down to, right?
