Rotating items

- [Instructor] Sometimes we don't really care if an item is in the same orientation as a software that produced it, such as Revit or AutoCAD. If you need to rotate something in place within Navisworks, you can certainly do that. The reason we would do that is say, for example we're at a client meeting, and the client would just like to see something rotated. That's a big part of Navisworks and why we use it. We're not breaking any BIM rule by doing it, just remember, it's not part of the authoring software that we use, so it could be incorrect. Let's jump into Navisworks and open up our NavisworksEssentials.nwd file. We're going to walk into our roof, and I'm going to kind of come down here. And there's a little unit right here I want to rotate. So let's go ahead and right-click on this item, and click select equipment support. Click your Item Tools tab. Now click on Rotate.
