- [Instructor] I like the move function, only because I get to say the word gizmo all the time. I don't like this function, because you can get into trouble using it. Moving an item in Navisworks is not hard. In fact, it's easy. So easy, You might be compelled to move an item in Navisworks instead of moving an item in, say, Revit or AutoCAD, where you should be doing it. No matter my personal opinion, you bought this video to learn how to move an object. So, let's do it. By selecting the item and going into the temporary Item Tools tab, you can move it. We are going to jump into Navisworks, and we're going to open NavisworksEssentials.nwd. And we are going to walk into our roof. Pan down. Take a look at our little cover plate here. And right click on it, and we're going to Select PIPE COVER. Now notice you have a temporary Item Tools tab. Click it. Ooh, look at all this stuff. Click on Move. What happens is…
