Adding selection sets to a task
- [Instructor] You know by now that you can group virtually any kind of objects together creating a selection set. Well, now that tool is really going to come in handy. By creating a selection set of objects, we can now start adding them to our sequencing model. The objective of this video is to scroll around and select a bunch of footings. Then what we're going to do is group them into a set. Then we're going to add that set to a task on our timeliner. Make sure you're in your STRUCTURAL.nwd file. The first thing we need to do is orbit around until we see these footings. Select any one of the footings. Let's go up to select same. Let's grab select same name. Right next to this icon is the save selection icon. This will save a selection set. We'll call this footings and we'll hit enter. Now I'd like to kind of auto hide this, 'cause it's sort of in our way. Auto hide it again. Sometimes you have to do it twice. So…
