How to outsource your work to prevent burnout
- Everything on your to-do list needs to get done but you might not have time to do it. Here are my top two tips. All of your low priority items, you can think of this like household chores or running errands. Give those small tasks to other people in your household. Could be a roommate, spouse, partner, brother, sister, could be anyone. Say, I'm feeling a little bit burnt out, really need your help this week. Can you help me with X? Run to the drugstore, do the laundry. Help me with dishes. Give those low level tasks away to other people that are close to you in your life. Number two, if it's related to work or it's a bigger task see if you can outsource it to a professional. For example, if you've had wash my car on your to-do list but you're feeling burnt out, see if you can hire somebody to come wash your car or if it's something for work, can you bring a freelancer on board to help you with that specific project? There are amazing websites like Fiverr, Upwork and LinkedIn Jobs where you can find freelancers that can help you on a temporary basis. If you are feeling burned out, these are amazing solutions to get your to-do list items done without you doing them.
