- [Man] Ensuring that customers are given the appropriate access to credit enhances the sales process and optimizes the accounts receivable process for an organization. Let's take a look at updating a customer's credit master data. We'll enter transaction code BP and press Enter. In the locator area, we'll search for the customer we want to edit by searching Business Partner Number 1000308 and pressing Start. We'll double-click on this business partner. We can now close our locator screen. Our transaction has taken us into display mode. We want to change this business partner, so we'll click Switch Between Display and Change. We want to Change in BP role, and select from our dropdown list, SAP Credit Management. The credit management process evaluates credit worthiness and payment behaviors of customers. Organizations can set up specific roles based on the external credit information and a customer's payment history to determine the credit limit. This is all done to mitigate the risk…
