- Our CAD Capture is so powerful that seeing it for the first time can be a little intimidating. So the brain can tend to shut down, and you may never start a design sometimes. Well no worries, by the time we're done using this program we will be more familiar with Capture, and can get some work done. So, go to Windows start menu and open or CAD Capture. Make sure you click on Capture CIS or capture CIS light. And we are going to open a demo design. Go to file, open, demo designs, and also select the 80C51 board schematic, so click open here. All right, so the schematic is open, now I am going to maximize that. Great. First lets look at the entire framework that makes up Capture starting from the top. We have the menu bar, so file, design, edit, and all these options. The menu bar is standard with most Windows applications. Next are the tool bars in Capture, they just have icons that execute instructions, that are really the same instructions you find in the main menu. They are just…
