Generate a smart PDF

- [Instructor] With a completed schematic, it's time to generate documentation you can share with other engineers. OrCAD Capture has a feature to create what's known as a smart PDF of your schematic. In the Project Directory, make sure to select your design, that's the .dsn file, go to File, Export, PDF. So, this would generate the smart PDF and make sure your output directory is set to Documents, Circuits, Projects and then my project, whatever your project folder is. The output PDF file can be whatever you want to name it but I'm going to leave it as is since that's the project name. And keep all of the defaults the same. Now you may get an error here if you do not have Ghostscript installed. So, let's install Ghostscript. You can click on this link right here and it'll open up Ghostscript for you. You want to select the Postscript and PDF Interpreter Renderer Ghostscript and choose the Ghostscript that works for your Windows system. I have a 64-bit system, so I'll select on this…
