- [Instructor] Ideally, you'll have some experience creating issues, working on issues, and navigating to the most-used areas of Jira. All you need right now is user-level access to your organization's Jira Software application. If you don't have access yet, ask your administrator to add you to the Jira Software users default access group. It's also helpful to have a test environment so you can explore features without impacting real production data. Your organization might already have a sandbox environment that you can use. If they don't, sign up for your own free version of Jira Software Cloud.
