Solution: Create a custom filter
(upbeat music) - [Instructor] Were you able to create the JQL query and save the results as a filter? Here's how to do it. From the issue search page, enter the JQL in the text field and execute the search. Let's talk through this query. The reporter field uses the current user function. You could also hard code your username. The tilde in the second clause does a like search for a word or phrase. The search includes the summary, description, and comment fields. Next, a time period is specified. I hardcoded the start and end dates, but you can also use functions and other operators. Finally, the exclamation point and equal symbol at the end finds issues where the status is anything except done. In my application, two issues meet that criteria. Then use the button at the top to save the filter for later use. Finally, enter a unique name, and click the form submission button.
