- [Instructor] Help desks can support users with many services in a corporate environment. Many users rely on help desk teams to fix software problems and connectivity issues. These will be your most popular types of calls. After that, it may be physical problems like hardware that's broken, such as a desktop or laptop. Or computer peripherals like keyboards and mice. Home users will have hardware issues that in-house staff may not have, such as VPN connection problems and inkjet printer problems. Without an in-house IT person to assist them home users can have especially difficult issues if you can't remotely connect to their computers.
