- [Instructor] Smart cities are a great example of how IoT has been integrated in our daily lives. The smart city concept involves the implication of IoT technology in many of our daily activities, and interactions within the city, inside and outside our homes. A smart city also includes a smart grid, providing and transforming electrical power to different areas within a city. IoT also has green applications, such as environmental monitoring and protection using smart solar panels, weather monitoring, water safety and farming systems.
