- [Instructor] The SEQUENCE function in Excel 2 is an ideal tool for creating numerical lists, 3 and it can be used in a variety of ways, 4 including, as we're seeing on this worksheet here, 5 three different examples of how we can create 6 date entries with single formulas. 7 In all cases here, we're using the SEQUENCE function, 8 one of those dynamic array functions that has amazing power. 9 Let's talk about this idea. 10 We're setting up a new worksheet. 11 We want a column heading for each day of the year. 12 That's already being done in cell L1, 13 but let's show how we can do this 14 with the SEQUENCE function. 15 So I'm going to zoom in here and move that arrow out of the way 16 and use the SEQUENCE function in cell L2. 17 Remember, we're about to create a list 18 that's 366 columns to the right. 19 It's for 2024, which is a leap year, =seq. 20 And every time you're typing this, 21 seq tab gets you there a tad…
