- [Instructor] Excel has four different chart types related 2 to stock data, and on this list 3 we see four different kinds of layouts. 4 Notice that they all include these blue cells 5 for high, low, close. 6 The second cluster in columns F through J 7 include a column for open. 8 And the next cluster over in columns L through P 9 include a volume column instead. 10 And then the one on the right includes a volume 11 and an open column. 12 Now you don't necessarily know this, 13 let's say the first time if I were 14 to click within the group on the left, 15 because that is surrounded by empty cells, 16 and that's true in the other three cases too, 17 we don't even have to highlight the data, 18 we can just click within them. 19 And for example, suppose we don't know anything 20 about stock charts. 21 We might just press Alt F1 to get a quick chart. 22 That's going to be the default chart. 23 In most cases, that's…
