- [Instructor] When you work with large lists in Excel, 2 invariably you encounter the problem of duplication. 3 Sometimes the duplication occurs in columns. 4 In this worksheet that we're looking at, 5 there might be some duplicate entries in column C. 6 And one approach to locating them 7 is not to scroll up and down 'cause it could be a huge list. 8 But to use conditional formatting, 9 typically you'd be doing this on an ID type column. 10 For example, column C, I'm going to select column C. 11 And then on the home tab up on the ribbon menu system, 12 choose conditional formatting, highlight cell rules, 13 slide over and down to duplicate values. 14 Looks like we've got quite a few. 15 It applies a certain format. You could possibly change this. 16 Let's say here it's good enough, click okay. 17 And by the way, duplicate could mean triplicate. 18 Some of these entries might be found three times 19 or maybe even four…
