- [Instructor] Excel has a number of different rounding functions and we see a list of the major ones listed here in column E, round up, round down, and the less frequently used M round, ceiling, and floor. As we look at the data in cell B2, we're calculating a new salary, and the formula here in cell B2, as I double click, reveals that we're simply using that percent of increase. It's in cell C2, and this is one of a number of different ways we could write this formula, but here's the new salary, and we'll copy that down the column. For the moment, just copy it into a few cells. Looking good. We've got a similar scenario over in column K, and when you do work with financial information, sometimes the critical aspect of pennies, dollars is super important, particularly when you start dealing with volume.
