- [Presenter] When you're making a presentation using Excel, there are a number of tips and techniques that are going to make your presentation more viable to your audience. We're currently seeing a PivotTable in this worksheet, and it's a busy, busy screen. There's a lot going on here. We've got a PivotTable, we've got a PivotChart, there's slicers off to the right, there's the PivotTable field list there. The screen would be a lot more readable if we could somehow get that menu system out of the way. The ribbon icons, the various choices that we see below the ribbon tabs, can be dispensed with rather quickly simply with Ctrl + F1, and we're not truly getting rid of them. We're simply hiding them. Ctrl + F1 using the function key F1. And we can bring back that ribbon menu system anytime we need it. There are certainly times during a presentation when you're not actually using the commands. Get 'em out of the way.…
