(offbeat uplifting music) - [Instructor] All right, this was my thought process for solving the challenge. I began by considering the first requirement, which was that the motor required six volts to operate. Looking at the five types of batteries I could choose from, I notice that the voltage of a nine volt battery would be too high, so I crossed that off of my list. That left me with four options to choose from, AA, AAA, C, and D batteries, which all have the same nominal voltage of one and a half volts. To reach the required six volts for the motor, I'll need to combine several of these batteries in series so that their voltages sum together. To figure out how many batteries I would need in the series, I divided the total voltage I wanted to achieve by the individual voltage of each battery. Six volts divided by 1.5 volts shows me that I'll need to combine four batteries in series to achieve the required six volt…
